I thought you might like to see a few pictures of our trip through the mountains of Sri Lanka.  It is a beautiful country with beautiful people that have received us very beautifully. We met with pastors and children as well as met the team that is working on the Tsunami relief. The pictures with the water on the road and in the houses were taken this past weekend just north and south of where we live,  Dianna and I were driving through it on our way to church.  Over 400,000 people are now homeless and 24 have died from the flooding.  It is considered the worst flooding in their history other than the Tsunami.  Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is assessing how we can best be used to relieve the pain and suffering.

Pray for us as we leave Friday for several weeks to India.  Also continue to pray for our visas to get approved for Bangladesh and Pakistan.  We were supposed to be speaking to 1,000 youth in Bangladesh this week at Nazarene Youth Congress but were unable to go without the visa. God is so good, as I was writing this I just received an e-mail letting me know the NYC had to be postponed due to fighting in the capital city and across much of the country.  Sometimes we don’t understand at the moment why something has or has not happened the way we thought it should but if we will wait on God He will show us in his time.  We also just received an e-mail that our Bangladesh visa was just approved fro one year multiple entry, which is much better than we had hoped for as one is normally given a three month two entry visa.

This is a short version of our schedule for the next few months.  Please pray for us as we spend most of it on the road.
