This week we will be continuing our series on Witness as one of the practices of Jesus. As followers of Jesus we are all called to share our faith and be witnesses of God’s grace and goodness in our lives. Last week we talked about improving our witness by praying sincerely, living wisely, and speaking graciously.
When we look at Jesus and the early church a consistent pattern we see that outsiders became insiders. This happened when a person or group of people would be excluded from a social group outcasts, would be invited in and shown love and hospitality.
This Sunday we will talk about a few of those examples in the New Testament, and how we too can learn to practice hospitality like Jesus and be better witnesses to the people around us!
